Triple Empties Haul for Skincare

Hi Friends!

I’m back again with another product empties haul! This time I ran out of three of my favourite skincare regimes at this moment: Energie De Vie Liquid Care, Eau Fraîche Douceur (Cleansing Water), and Tonique Comfort.

Product information and key ingredients from here:

An intense lifestyle goes hand in hand with skin fatigue, dullness, rough texture and uncomfortable dryness. Live life to the fullest while keeping your skin feeling fresh and healthy with the Liquid Care solution! Lancôme created the first Liquid Care that combines the skincare effects of a lotion, serum and cream all-in-one for a smooth, hydrated, and luminous complexion.
Awesome Key ingredients: Goji Berry and Lemon Balm

Énergie de Vie captures the combination of 2 plant extracts – Goji Berry & Lemon Balm, leaving your skin feeling energized: smoothed looking texture, healthy look, fresh feel and bouncier skin. Now ready to face daily challenges. In a fascinating journey of the senses, the liquid care offers a burst of energizing freshness.

My own take on this product:

I love the light weight feeling of it, and the fact that it acts as a lotion, serum, and hydrator all in one bottle! It reminds me of the light weight texture of the Genifique serum. Whenever I use it in the morning, I feel like it wakes me up and that my skin looks like it has a glow to it. I also like that you can apply it over makeup as well, without disturbing your set foundation and powder. I only use about a pea sized amount and I pat it all over my face and neck; then I usually follow up with either a moisturizer or oil right after.

Product information and Benefits from here:

Eau Fraîche Douceur gently liberates the skin from impurities.

The micellaire technology allows perfect Makeup removal with optimal tolerance in a burst of freshness.

Its gentle formula can be used to remove eye and lip Makeup.

For all skin types, even sensitive.
Hydrates the skin for a comfortable and non-drying cleansing experience.

My own take on this product:

After I clean my face using the Honey cleanser, I use this product to remove any excess dirt or makeup that might have been leftover after I cleaned the first time. Since I use two toners (I know it’s excessive, but I swear by it!), I use this one during the evening and my Tonique Comfort during the day. By using this product, it’s kind of like I cleaned my face twice lol..but at least I know everything is off my face. It face feels cleaner and ready to go for my other skincare regimes like my serum, moisturizer, eye cream etc. Plus, it doesn’t leave my face feeling tight…I used to always think that by having that tight feeling on your face meant that your skin was super clean. Meanwhile, you’re stripping your skin’s natural oils, which can cause more wrinkles to form as well as excessive oil to occur!!

Product information and benefits from here:

Reveal pure, naturally beautiful skin with Tonique Confort, moisturising toner from Lancôme.

Tonique Confort toning lotion hydrates and soothes dry skin while gently removing makeup and impurities from the surface.

Our unique skincare formula is enriched with sweet almond extract and honey to leave skin feeling clean, soft and comfortable.

Tested under dermatological control.

• Removes traces of make-up and impurities
• Soothes skin
• Softens skin
• Clears complexion

My own take on this product:

As mentioned above, I do use two toners. I use this toner during the day, since it keeps my skin hydrated and removes and impurities that occur on my skin when I had slept. I love this smell of this product too, it’s refreshing and clean. I make sure to also swipe around my neck as well. You’d be surprised as to how much dirt you may find on your skin, even after cleansing your skin the night before! I also find that this product reduces the amount of redness I get from when I wake up, which is a definite plus.
