Can one mistake really ruin a persons outlook of you, even though you’ve always been good to them? A person asks.
Yes, I reply. Yes it can.
Why says the person.
You don’t know how the other person is capable of doing. You don’t know of the outcome that they may or will be feeling. People are not perfect. So you aren’t as well. Mistakes happen. But it doesn’t mean that the other person won’t have it in the back of their mind.
I don’t understand they reply.
What takes years to build up, to gain respect, to gain insight. Is when it can pose the most risks.
Why? They question.
Because one mistake can break it all down.
