New Years Resolution, to do more: Reading, writing, and reflecting on my health

2016 for me had a lot of ups and downs; nonchalantly I persevered, even though the outcome was not to my liking. I’m not going to say that 2017 will be my “it” year, or the year that I’ll “make” any significant changes in my life that will lead me to where I want to be. The truth is, every year I’ve learned something new, every year I’ve made some changes be it mediocre or not. I don’t think I’ve ever made a New Years resolution that resulted to a prolonged outcome throughout the year, and sadly that truly isn’t the point of creating a resolution.

So this year, I’d rather keep it simple. Reading, writing, and reflecting on my health. These will be the three resolutions that I’ll be surrounding my year with. As vague as it sounds, it can open up my interests to new things, or act as a reminder that new things can pop up even though old ones may appear to be near.

I cannot wait to see what 2017 brings, and how these three resolutions will have affected me in the long run. Happy New Years, and let’s see how this all continues!
